My name is Christopher "Jordan" Ray. I am currently a participant in the NSF REU Site: Integrative Computational Education and Research Traineeship, 'Next Generation Game Changer.' I am a dual-degree academic scholar who will be obtaining a degree in mathematics at Fort Valley State University and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
I am conducting research at the University of Texas at Austin with my research partner Mercy Grace Browder. We are working with Dr. Suzanne A. Pierce and John Gentle at the Texas Advanced Computing Center. Our project (3DDY) requires nalyzing data and converting it into a three-dimensional format. Our goal is to gather data on this precious resource and create visuals of these systems that can be easily understood by the non scientific community.
